One of the best parts about being a small business is that we value your opinion and listen.
A little while ago, I sent an email asking for your thoughts on where Purple Cow should go next. The response was incredible. I read every single message. The ideas, suggestions, and honest feedback helped shape where we're spending our time, energy, and dollars this year.
I want to share what we heard and what we're doing about it.
A lot of you told us you'd love to see Purple Cow offer cell phone service.
This is something we would love to do as well.
If the big guys are tempting you with bundles, hang tight.
We heard strong demand for Purple Fibre in places like Clayton Park, Lower Sackville, Windsor, Hardwood Lands, and even parts of PEI.
The response to Purple Fibre so far has been incredible. And yes — those areas are on the roadmap.
That said, building our own fibre network as an independent company is expensive. We have to be intentional. We focus first on areas with higher density and clusters of herd members so we can build sustainably and keep pricing competitive.
There are very few independent internet providers left in Canada — and even fewer that are building their own networks. We're doing this to keep pressure on the market and drive prices down long term.
Even if Purple Fibre isn't on your street yet, our presence helps keep pricing honest across the region.

Here's the update:
Out-of-home viewing is now live. You can watch your channels and recordings while traveling, at work, or at your second home at no extra charge.
On flexibility, we currently offer three base packages plus add-on packs and single channels. If there's something more specific you'd like to see, keep the ideas coming.
For TLC and Peachtree TV (Warner Bros. channels), we've been working directly with their legal teams for months. We're close, and have been promised dates that have come and gone before, so I am reluctant to share specific dates at this time.
As for Roku, we know many of you use this as your smart TV device. The challenge is Roku's 30% revenue requirement. That doesn't work for us or for you. If that policy changes, we'll gladly bring Purple Cow TV to the platform.
We're also launching a dedicated TV set-top box soon for customers who prefer that experience. This will include a remote with all the buttons. The goal is to have it available by the end of the month.
You asked for better account access and more payment options.
We've launched a new customer portal where you can:
You can access it at:
https://portal.purplecowinternet.com/login
If you've never logged in, just click "forgot password."
We're also working on additional payment methods, including direct bank payments. Those should roll out before the end of the quarter.
Many of you mentioned having larger homes and needing WiFi extenders to get coverage everywhere.
We've selected a new WiFi extender device and are integrating it directly into the Purple Cow WiFi app. It will sync easily and extend coverage throughout your home.
Our goal is to have these available next month, and you will be able to order them directly from the customer portal. I'll be sure to email everyone when they're ready for order.
We heard both praise and areas where we can improve.
Over the past 45 days, we transitioned customer service platforms. That created some short-term friction, but it positions us for much better long-term performance. We expect service levels to exceed where they were within the next 45 days as the team gets fully comfortable and new tools roll out.
We're also hiring new team members as we prepare for a busy summer. If you know anyone who might be interested, send them our way.
We're going to keep building.
Keep improving.
Keep communicating openly.
And keep driving down the cost of internet in Atlantic Canada.
If you ever have ideas or feedback, we genuinely want to hear them. This company grows because of the herd.
